A Strong Endorsement from the Minister of State for Textiles

We are delighted to share a significant endorsement received by the Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti NGO from Advocate V. Dhananjaya Kumar – MP of Mangaluru & Honourable minister of state for textiles – Government of India.

Advocate Dhananjaya Kumar as a MP of Mangaluru advocated here in his letter the importance of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti NGO (JSKPPS) for the development of undivided Dakshina Kannada through industrialisation & infrastructure development.

Shri Kumar emphasised the importance of balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship, a principle that has been central to our mission. He pointed out that while development policies have often prioritised economic growth, the long-term viability of such progress hinges on responsible management of natural resources. He warned against the fallacy of viewing environmental concerns as antagonistic to development or considering the over-exploitation of resources as a necessary trade-off for progress.

Although he expressed his regret at being unable to attend our symposium on December 30, 2000, due to prior commitments, his wishes for our success in this endeavour resonate deeply with our ongoing efforts. We remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that industrial growth in the Dakshina Kannada District does not come at the cost of environmental degradation.

This acknowledgment by a senior government official further motivates us to continue our work towards a cleaner and more sustainable future. We are grateful for the support and encouragement, and we pledge to remain dedicated to our cause for the betterment of our community and environment.
